Three injured in road accident

SHILLONG: A driver of an auto rickshaw along with two other passengers sustained injuries when a vehicle travelling from Tura went off the road on a turning after the driver lost control of the auto rickshaw and developed some technical snag.

The incident happened near Nehru Park at Dakangri under Rongram Block, West Garo Hills on the Wednesday evening. The 108 Emergency Service Ambulance based at Tura helped shift one Rapu M. Marak (23 M), one Mikring M. Sangma (22 M) and the driver one Tweel Marak (24 M) to Tura Civil Hospital.
