 SHILLONG: The BSF on Monday apprehended three illegal immigrants from Baghmara while they were infiltrating from Bangladesh into India.

The arrested persons have been identified as Ilias Roram (29), Barnat Nafok (40) and Anderson (26).

During preliminary questioning, they revealed that they would cross the border to work as daily labourers at Baghmara Market and returned to Bangladesh in the evening taking the route through the BGB border village of Bijaypur through the jungle to Baghmara market.

Meanwhile, BSF troops of Nongkhen, East Jaintia Hills on Monday seized a motorcycle (Bajaj Pulsar- 150 CC) while it was being smuggled into Bangladesh.
