Samuel Jyrwa new NESO chairman

 SHILLONG: Former KSU president Samuel Jyrwa on Thursday was elected as the new chairman of North East Students’ Union (NESO) for the term 2012-2015 Informing this on Thursday, the student body president Daniel Khyriem said Jyrwa replaced Dr Samujjal Bhattacharjya in an election that took place at a conference of all the students’ body of North East held at Kohima from November 27 to 29. It is also learnt that apart from Jyrwa, Manseng Sangma, a former GSU leader, was elected as the assistant secretary general of the NESO.
