Dead body

On Friday at around 8:30 am, one unidentified male dead body was recovered from Umphyrnai, East Khasi Hills.

Theft

A complaint was lodged at Shillong Sadar PS that on November 29 at around 2 pm, unknown miscreants stole Rs. 4, 86, 265 from a locker at CTO, BSNL.

On November 29 at around 12:30 pm, unknown miscreants stole Rs. 3 lakhs and gold ornament valued around Rs. 1 lakh from the residence of one Pratap Kr. Bhattacharjee at Laitumkhrah.

On November 26, unidentified miscreants armed with daggers looted cash and gold ornaments valued around Rs. 70,000 from the house of one Naba Koch at Mogurmari South West Garo Hills.

Assault

On November 29 at around 11 pm, unidentified miscreants assaulted one Pran Bh. Thapa (28 yrs) at Umsohsun. As a result, he sustained injuries and was shifted to Civil Hospital, Shillong.

Fake birth certificate

One CD Lyngwa, ERO lodged a complaint at Rynjah PS, that one Sanch Deb submitted a birth certificate issued by Headman of RR Colony, Rynjah for enrollment as a voter.

A complaint was lodged at Rynjah PS that one Madan Paul submitted a forged EPIC along with form 6 for enrollment as a voter.

Threats

On November 28 about 10:30 pm, one Raft Khan and his accomplices threatened to close down the shop of one Samsudil Ahmed at Star Plaza Shopping Complex in Police Bazaar.

Arms missing

Asst. Director, SIB, Shillong lodged a complaint at Laban PS that on July 6, 2011, one DM Haokip, Asst. Director SIB, Shillong (Presently posted at SIB, Imphal) handed over the custody of the arms and ammunitions to one Trikolesh Panda, DCIO, SIB, Shillong. Recently, it was found that one 9mm pistol was missing from the armoury.
