Truck torched

Miscreants set fire to one abandoned truck (NL-01K-1812) at Mawlai Nongkwar, Shillong on Saturday at around 2.30 am . As a result, the truck was damaged.

Duped

Pawan Bajoria, proprietor of Bhajanlal, Police Bazar, lodged a complaint at Shillong Sadar police station recently that one Vijay Roy, owner of a cell phone shop at G.S. Road, Police Bazar, cheated him of a huge sum amounting to Rs. 1,46,530.

Theft

Miscreants stole Rs. 5,000 and two hundred cell phones valued around Rs. 3 lakh from the shop of Bikramjit Baruah at Jail Road, Shillong on November 30.

Threat

One Rafal Ullah lodged a complaint at Shillong Sadar police station that on November 30 at around 10 am, one Sham Uddin threatened him with dire consequences at Police Bazar, Shillong.

Body recovered

Arona Lyngdoh Mawphlang of Lower Mawprem, Shillong was found dead near Samjulla Restaurant at Bara bazar, Shillong on November 30.

Injured

One unidentified person aged around 45 was fatally knocked down by a vehicle recently at Pommura, NH-44 in East Khasi Hills.
