Lakhipur : The items seized after an encounter with ULFA-GNLA militants at Lakhipur, in Goalpara district bordering Meghalaya on Friday night after a joint operation of India Army and Assam Police. A GNLA cadre and an ULFA militant were killed in the encounter. Police recovered arms and ammunition, two pistols, 52 detonators, 37 live rounds of AK ammunition, demand notes and cell phones.
