A driver of a Maruti car sustained injuries when the vehicle hit a tree on the side of the road at 5th Mile, Upper Shillong on Friday morning. The 108 Emergency Service Ambulance helped to shift one Martin Marak (38 M) to Civil Hospital, Shillong.
A Maruti van travelling to Shillong from Jowai was involved in a head on collision with a truck coming from the opposite direction at Puriang, under the Mawryngkneng Block, East Khasi Hills on Friday morning. The 108 Emergency Service Ambulance based at Mawryngkneng helped in shifting the driver, Hame Phawa (25 M) to Woodland Hospital, Shillong.
A Mahindra pick-up truck (MLO7B – 1020) travelling towards Nengkhra from Williamnagar, went off the road and onto a turning at Dowagre under the Samanda Block, East Garo Hills on Friday afternoon.
