A truck proceeding towards Guwahati was involved in a head-on collision with another truck near Madanriting Police Station, Shillong in the wee hours of Wednesday. Amit Debbarman (25, M) and Apo Dekmari (21, M) were shifted to Shillong Civil Hospital.
A motorist sustained injuries when a local taxi, in the process of overtaking another vehicle collided with his scooter at Nongrim Hills on December 11 at 11.30 pm. Uttam Das (20, M) was shifted to Shillong Civil Hospital.
A co-passenger of a Maruti 800 (MLO4 – 8607) sustained injuries when the vehicle overturned after it hit a wall near Gorkha High School, Upper Shillong on December 11 at 10:55 pm. Firstarwell Myrthong (44, M) was shifted to Shillong Civil Hospital.
Suresh Hajong (41, M) sustained injuries after he fell off a motorbike he was riding near the Baptist Church at Damalgre under Selsella Block, West Garo Hills on December 11 at 8:55 pm. He was shifted to Tura Civil Hospital.
