SHILLONG: In the new season of the Shillong Cricket League, NFU defeated Lumdiengjri SCC by five wickets in a league match of the Super Division Shillong Cricket League 2012 at Polo Grounds, on Thursday.
Lumdiengjri SCC won the toss and elected to bat first.
They put up a score of 135 all out in 30.5 overs. Herbran Rymbai scored 27 runs, while Deep Dutta and Swarajeet Das took two wickets each.
In reply, NFU scored the required runs in 33 overs, with the loss of five wickets. Purojit Mondal scored 36. Pynkup and Hamedaroi took a wicket apiece.
In the next match, TnT Sputnik will face Malki CC at 9:00am.
