The KSU South Khasi hills recently elected new members of the KSU Laitryngew Unit, with Ribokstar Diengdoh as the president, Labitlang Nongrum as the vice president and Shaidarsing Shylla as the General Secretary besides other executive members.
Inauguration
The first ever newly constructed standard play ground within the Greater Laban, was inaugurated by Laban MLA Sanbor Shullai. The total amount spent on the outdoor stadium is Rs 69,46,900.
Candle Fair
The North Eastern Development Finance Corporation Ltd (NEDFi) as part of its developmental activities is organising the 1st Shillong Candle Fair at All Saints’ Cathedral Hall premises from December18 to 22. Altogether 15 units from different parts of the region will participate in the fair. NEC Secretary UK Sangma will inaugurate the Shillong Candle Fair.
