SHILLONG: The Shillong bench of the Gauhati High Court will give the order on the PIL on land allotment to the civil servants at the cost of Rs 1 per square feet on January 30.

The court asked Advocate General KS Kynjing to obtain the instruction as to whether the allotment of land to the Civil Services Officers Housing Co-operative Society was done in accordance with law or not and to submit the same on January 30 next .

The CSWO president Agnes Kharshiing had appeared in person when the PIL was first taken up by the court on December 17.
