Constituency formed
The UDP has formed the 19th Shillong South constituency and elected Mickey Shabong as the president, Dr Ailynti Nongbri as the vice-president besides others.
16th Midnight swim
The 16th Midnight swim will be held at the Crinoline Swimming Pool on December 31. To add to the challenges, 50 numbers of ice blocks each weighing 50 kgs will be put inside the pool.
Inauguration
The Sohiong Police Out Post will be inaugurated by Home Minister, HDR Lyngdoh, at 11AM.
Ordination
The priestly ordination of Deacon Lurshai Anthony Wahlang, SDB will take place on December 23 at the Madan Laban Sports Club ground at 10:00 am where Archbishop Dominic Jala will be the main celebrant during the Holy Mass.
