The Sohra Citizenship Committee which included the Sordar, Rangbah Shnong falling under Sohra Police Station led by UOC of Sohra PS, while welcoming tourists to Sohra, have urged them to maintain cleanliness and decency while visiting the tourist spots in Sohra failing of which, the committee will be forced to take actions against the defaulters.
Dry day
The District Magistrate of East Jaintia Hills has declared December 25, 31 and January 1, 2013 as dry days in the entire district on account of Christmas and New Year Day.
