SHILLONG: Malki CC defeated Lumdiengjri SCC by a massive 103 runs in a league match of the Super Division Shillong Cricket League, organised by the Shillong Cricket Association, at Polo Grounds.
Malki won the toss and elected to bat first. They scored an imposing 192 for nine in 40 overs.
Sandeep Lama scored 77 off 100 balls and Dathew Syngkon scored 31 runs off 38 balls. Pynkup Bonney took 4-31 runs off 8 overs.
In reply, Lumdiengjri were all out for just 89 runs in 26 overs. Isaac Bhujel scored 19 while Pynkmen Shangpliang took 3-12 and Syvester Mylliempdang took 2-10.
In an earlier match, NFU defeated TnT Sputnik by seven wickets. TnT Sputnik were bolwed out for 99 in 31.2 overs.
NFU reached the target in 24.1 overs. Kisahnlal scored 23 off 22 balls.
In the next match Wahingdoh SCC will take on Aurobindo CC at 9:00am.
