As part of the year long commemoration of the 150th anniversary of the martyrdom of freedom fighter, U Kiang Nongbah, a run for freedom will be held on December 30 at 7:00 AM. Also, a public function will be held on the same day at 1PM at the Sein Raij Dorbar Hall, Qualapatty. Deputy Chief Minister B M Lanong will be the Chief guest and MLA, Paul Lyngdoh will deliver a talk on ‘The relevance of U Kiang Nangbah today’.
