United XI top Group B with win over Royal CC

SHILLONG: United XI CC defeated Royal CC by 82 runs and qualified for the round robin league of the Super Division Shillong Cricket League, organised by the Shillong Cricket Association, at Polo.

Choosing to bat first after winning the toss, United XI put up a challenging total of 211-7 in 36 overs. Peter Anglican scored 48 while Adarsh took 2-32 runs.

In reply, Royal CC fell well short, bowled out for 129 in 29.1 overs. Kamal Thapa scored 43 while Andrew Thabah took 3-21.

In the next match, current leaders of Group A Malki CC will face NFU at 9:00am.
