Body recovered

On January 4 at about 10:30 am, one unidentified male body was recovered from Anjalee parking lot, Shillong. Cadaver was sent to CH, Shillong for PM examination.

Assault and Missing

A complaint was lodged on January 2 against one Bryan Nongrum of Umkaliar, Julius Wahlang of Nongmynsong, Dolansius Shylla of Umbir, Umsaw and other miscreants numbering to about 40 of them for brutally assaulting one Pyntngen Shisha Shylla (20), a resident of Nongsder, Umiam on December 31. Shylla was visiting his sister at Dong Ka Mon in Nongmynsong on New Year’s Eve when the incident happened. Shylla was last seen on January 1 at 2:30am and then after, he was reported missing till date.
