Clean politics campaign

 SHILLONG: A month ahead of polls in the state, the various NGOs of Mawlai area recently formed the Mawlai Clean Politics Campaign Committee (MCPCC) with an aim to raise awareness on the importance of clean governance in Mawlai area.

Led by the KSU Mawlai Circle, the committee has NGOs like HNYF, HANM Women’s wing, Synjuk Seng Samla Shnong-Mawlai circle, Seng Kynthei Mawiong Umjapung, etc as its members.

“We really want this campaign to gain momentum in Mawlai area and hope to help people understand the meaning of clean politics”, KSU Mawlai Circle president Donboklang Kharlyngdoh said here on Monday.
