Shillong : Congress candidate from Shillong South constituency and Mawprem MLA,
Manas Chaudhuri, releases the report of the financial account from 2008 to
2012 ‘Tryst With Mawprem’ on Tuesday related to the MLA schemes implemented
in his five-year term in the constituency. After releasing the transparent account, Chaudhuri urged others to follow suit and encouraged people to file RTI applications to find out the actual implementation of schemes of legislators. He also released amount under various MLA schemes to the beneficiaries on the occasion.
