SHILLONG: The KSU Mawryngkneng Circle recently presented the 7th Wickliffe Syiem Academic Awards 2012 11 meritorious students of the area.
Speaking at the gathering as the chief guest, BDO of Mawryngkneng, R Iangrai, said that education is a powerful tool especially in this age, while adding that a community will land up in serious problems if they fail to have the basic knowledge of the current affairs and situations in the State.
KSU president Daniel Khyriem highlighted on the life of Wickliffe Syiem and appealed to the youth to shoulder the responsibility of leading their own people.
