SHILLONG: The Lok Janshakti Party (LJP) has announced the names of five candidates to contest the upcoming 2013 Assembly election.

A communiqué from the party informed that RG Pradhan will contest the election from 19-Shillong South constituency.

In addition, the party also named Martin Lyngdoh from Jirang, Wanbha Mylliempdah from Nongthymmai, KL Nongshli from Mawhati and Alexander Marwein from Mawkyrwat as its candidates.

“The names of the remaining candidates would be revealed shortly,” the communiqué added.
