Assault
On January 10 at around 3 am, unidentified miscreants assaulted one Sanjeet Bhuyan (38) at Mawryngkneng (EKH).
House torched
One Phul Bareh lodged a complaint at Jowai PS that on January 8 at around 3:30 am, her husband, Teibait Biam set fire to her house at Raliang (WJH). Loss of property was estimated around Rs. 10 lakh.
Threatening case
One Bailinroy Mukhim and others lodged a complaint at Jowai PS that while VDP Hynniew Shnong of Rakabah area (WJH) were conducting vehicle checking on January 5 at about 10 am, one Precious Dkhar, Jied Nongrum and Hilarius Dkhar had threatened them with dire consequences.
One Precious Dkhar lodged a complaint at Jowai PS that on January 5 at around 9:15 am, while he along with Jied Nongrum, Hilarius Dkhar and others were preceding towards Rakabah village (WJH), one Bailin Mukhim, Phul Passah and others stopped their vehicle, threatened them and checked their belongings. Later, Rs. 20,000/- was found missing from a bag.
