NFU down Lawmali by 8 wickets

SHILLONG: NFU defeated Lawmali CC by a convincing margin of eight wickets in the Super Division of the Shillong Cricket League, organised by the Shillong Cricket Association, at Polo Grounds.

Lawmali won the toss and elected to bat first, putting up a total of 171 all out in 40 overs. Paul scored 34 and Sanvert scored 31. Biswajit took two wickets for 20 runs.

In reply, NFU scored 172 for the loss of two wickets in 27.2 overs. In-form batsman Raj Biswa continued his brilliant run and scored 95 runs off just 84 balls and Deka raja scored 33 off 38.
