In a hit and run case, Pynshngainlang Susngi (16, M) sustained injuries after he was hit by a vehicle while walking on the side of the road near the Umshyrpi Bridge, Shillong on February 5 at 12:25 am Susngi was shifted to Shillong Civil Hospital.

A motorist and a pillion rider travelling towards Umbir from Shillong sustained injuries when the motorbike was hit by a Mahindra pick-up truck, which had just come out from the garage and was entering the main road near Marten at Mawiong, Shillong. Lari Nongrang (19, F) and Vishal Lyngdoh (20, M) were shifted to Shillong Civil Hospital. The incident occurred on February 4 at 6 pm.

Two passengers of a Tata Sumo sustained injuries when the vehicle was involved in a collision with a truck coming from the opposite direction at Mawphlang on February 3 around 4 pm. Bari Lyngdoh (17, M) and Balin Lyngdoh Mawphlang (22, M) were shifted to Mawphlang CHC.

A Tata Sumo travelling to Barapani overturned on a turning when the driver lost control of the vehicle at Mawlai Mawiong, Shillong on February 3 around noon. Phel Tyngan (75, F), Pearly Tyngan (60, F), D Suchiang (19, M) and Yowanphi Tyngan (30, F) were shifted to Shillong Civil Hospital.

A driver and a passenger of an auto rickshaw sustained injuries when the vehicle was hit by a truck at Lad Sharai, Ri Bhoi on February 3 around 2:30 am. Bringstar Lakhon (23, M) and Phrang Umlong (30, M) were shifted to Umsning CHC.
