Crorepati Sanbor owns a pistol too

SHILLONG: NCP candidate from Shillong South Sanbor Shullai owns a 32 bore pistol (RP 115296), besides other movable and immovable assets.

The sitting MLA from Laban has a hefty Rs 2.5 crore as savings in the bank apart from land worth Rs 1.6 crore.

In his affidavit filed before the East Khasi Hills Returning Officer, Shullai mentioned that the gross total value of his movable assets is Rs 2.7 crore.

He has Rs 3 lakh cash in hand while his wife, Polly Rabon has Rs 2 lakh. He owns five tolas of gold worth Rs 2 lakh while his wife owns 2 tolas of gold amounting to Rs 80,000. His dependent owns half tolas of gold worth Rs 20,000.

Shullai, a matriculate, owns two vehicles, a Maruti Gypsy (ML 05 H 5592) and Bolero (ML 05 E 9523) the present market value of which are Rs 40,000 and Rs 2 lakh respectively.

The gross total value of the movable assets of his wife and dependent rae Rs 11 lakh and Rs 20,000 respectively.

The Laban Legislator’s wife owns two plots of land worth Rs 1.6 crore and Rs 1.2 crore respectively.

Shullai owns a plot of land at Kench’s Trace measuring 399.63 sq ft purchased in 2007 worth Rs 40 lakh, a 24,000 sq ft plot of land at Lawsohtun purchased in 2012 worth Rs 1.2 crore while his wife owns a plot of non-agricultural land at Kench’s Trace measuring 2,500 sq ft purchased in 1995 worth Rs 10 lakh and a 500 sq ft land at Kench’s Trace purchased in1996 worth Rs 4 lakh.

She also owns plots of land for residential buildings, one at Kench’s Trace measuring 2000 sq ft purchased in 1996 worth Rs 80 lakh and a 500 sq ft land at Kench’s Trace purchased in 1996 worth Rs 35 lakh.

AL Hek: Congress candidate from Pynthorumkhrah constituency AL Hek, who is also a Cabinet Minister, has movable assets worth Rs 1 crore and immovable assets worth Rs 2.8 crore.

He has Rs 93,290 cash in hand while his wife has Rs 7350. Hek has bank account savings worth Rs 92 lakh and owns a Scorpio (ML 05 G 0063) worth Rs 8.2 lakh. He also owns a gold ring measuring 4 grams worth Rs 12,800.

Hek, who is a Class XII pass, owns non-agricultural land in RR Colony, Rynjah measuring 5029 sq ft purchased in 2010 worth Rs 45 lakh and given on lease besides another plot measuring 5091.95 sq ft purchased in 2009 worth Rs 20 lakh. He also owns a plot of land for commercial purpose at Polo Bazaar measuring 4950 sq ft purchased in 2003 worth Rs 2 crore apart from a plot for residential buildings at Demseiniong Laitumkhrah measuring 3596 sq ft worth Rs 23 lakh. The total current market value of Hek’s immovable assets is Rs 2.8 crore.
