ULFA, NDFB linkman nabbed

SHILLONG: BSF troops deployed in Nokchi, West Garo Hills District on Wednesday apprehended an ULFA and NDFB linkman Santok Koch (20) while he was trying to infiltrate into India.

During preliminary questioning, the linkman confessed that he was working with ULFA and NDFB and facilitating trans-border movements of their cadres.

In another incident, BSF troops of Baghmara apprehended two Bangladeshi illegal immigrants.

The arrested persons were identified as Prabash Marak (37) and Samul Marak (45).

The immigrants revealed that they intended to go to Nangalbibra coal mines area to work as labourers.
