SHILLONG: The oldest regional party in the State, the Hill State People’s Democratic Party (HSPDP) on Sunday urged the voters to restrain from unlawful activities which would jeopardize the smooth conduct of polls. In a statement issued here, HSPDP East Khasi Hills Unit functionaries said the party was committed to eschew corruption and bribery and shun money and muscle power influences. The HSPDP reminded that the Governments, both at the Centre and the State, had already indicated that they will thwart any attempt of use of unfair means in the election.
