Vote responsibly, appeals Lanong

NONGPOH: Making a clarion call to the electorates not to be swayed by the money power in the upcoming State Assembly Polls, United Democratic Party (UDP) working president and Dy Chief Minister Bindo M. Lanong urged the voters of the State to exercises their franchise responsibly so that the right candidates is sent who can ventilate their grievances in the floor of the house.

Lanong was addressing a gathering at a meeting organized by the Umroi UDP at Bhoirymbong on Saturday. The UDP leader also said that, in the present day context the public should go for an educated person as their MLA as he will be able to highlight their problems and also formulate better plans for all round development and betterment of the people and for the constituency.

Spelling out his election agendas, UDP Umroi Constituency candidate Tirot Singh Sunn said his top most priority is upliftment of agriculture which is the backbone for the economics of the people, he also assured for creation of civil sub division in Umroi Constituency if elected.
