The Dorbar Shnong Lapalang has condemned the rape of an 18-year-old girl by three men including a 15-year-old at Lapalang on Feb 9. The Dorbar has asked the police to book the accused as per law and ensure that stringent actions are taken against the rapists.

Immunization
The second round of pulse polio immunization programme in East Khasi Hills which was scheduled from February 25 has now been rescheduled to March 4 due to the Assembly election.
