Body recovered
On February 15 around 10:20 am, the body of one Harke Chettri (54) was fished out from Umiam River near MIDC area (RB). Cadaver was sent to Civil Hospital, Nongpoh for Post Mortem examination.
Arrest
Police arrested one Donbokstar Syngkli in connection with a murder case under Nongpoh Police Station.
Molestation
On February 15 at about 11 pm, one Biswajit Chakraborty (21) molested a woman (22) at Lower Nongrim Hills, Shillong. Police arrested the accused.
Murder
On February 13 at about 9:30 pm, Willing Pohshna murdered his wife, Shimti Shadap (43) at Byrwai village (EJH). Police arrested the accused.
Assault
One T.J Philipe lodged a complaint at Shillong Sadar PS that on February 11 evening, after his Maruti Wagon-R (AS-01S-6031) parked at Quinton Road, Shillong was towed to Shillong Sadar PS, the Traffic Constable on duty assaulted him.
