In a certain conference held recently in the city, the chairs that were used by the panelists in the dais had a weak back.

The moment a panelist would leave his chair to speak at the podium, they would fall back.

Such was the scenario that when a speaker finished his speech at the podium he had to be extra cautious while returning since he was greeted on his way back with a falling chair from the next panelist who was going to speak. Luckily there was none hurt in this process.

But all the chairs fell in chorus when the panelist had risen for the national anthem forcing the audience into a big laughter.

The Governor who was also invited to attend the conference could not make it as he was in New Delhi treating an ailing tooth.

A witty audience at the conference said that the Governor is lucky to have escaped the falling chairs on the stage or else he had to be rushed to New Delhi’s All India Institute of Medical Science (AIIMS) with a fracture. A good conference to be absent from indeed.
