SHILLONG: With only 10 male and 18 female voters, Paham Sohbar under Jirang constituency in Ri Bhoi is the smallest polling station in Meghalaya.

All 28 voters under the polling station of Paham Sohbar, around 8 km from Byrnihat, are Khasis.

Though the smallest constituency in the State is Dalu in West Garo Hills, it does not have the smallest polling station.The biggest polling station in the state is Rongrenggre with 1358 voters, all male.Another section of Rongrenggre polling station is only for the 1225 female voters.As per norm, the number of voters in a single polling station cannot exceed 1500..
