SHILLONG: With election fever reaching its peak, the KSU Mawkhar circle on Tuesday issued a warning to those opportunists who go around meeting the candidates of various parties seeking help in the name of the KSU Jaiaw and Mawkhar circle.

According to the KSU Mawkhar circle President Frederick Myrthong said that he has been receiving informations that there are some people who would visit the candidates of various parties of Shillong North Constituency seeking help in the name of the organization.

“I want to make it clear that we have no part to play in this process. Persons who go and meet the candidates go by their own will and they should not use the name of the Union”, Myrthong said stating that if such person is found repeating the same, they will be punished.
