SHILLONG: Pynthorum-khrah independent candidate Process T Sawkmie has appealed to the voters to give him an opportunity to represent the constituency in the next five years so they he can change the face of the constituency.

“I know the constituency has suffered a lot in the last 15 years since there is not development at all. I also know that the people of the constituency wants change and this can only happen if they elect a new person as the MLA,” Sawkmie said while speaking after a car rally which was attended by thousands of his supporters on Wednesday.

He said that he had already come up with his 20 points agenda which he plans to take up in the coming five years if he is elected.

“I am seriously concerned to see there are still so many poor families in the constituency. I am committed to improve their economic and living condition of these families,” the Pynthorumkhrah constituency independent candidate said.

It may be mentioned that 100 plus small vehicles including trucks and buses participated in the car rally.
