Campaigning ends today

SHILLONG: Thursday is the last day for campaigning of the Assembly election in the State with polling scheduled to take place on Saturday.

Chief Electoral Officer P Naik on Wednesday informed that the candidates can continue their campaigning till 4 pm on Thursday.

“The campaigning must end 48 hours before the close of the polls,” he said.
