SHILLONG: Forest Department defeated Veterinary Department by five wickets, while BSNL defeated AG’s Office by eight wickets in the Inter office cum Corporate T-20 Cricket Tournament 2013.
In the first match, Veterinary won the toss and elected to bat, scoring 93-8 in 20 overs. Frankestar scored 19 while Ricky Syiemlieh took 2-14.
In reply, Forest Department made 94-5 in 16.3 overs. Ebormi Ryngad scored 25 while Deibormi took 2-15 in his four overs.
In the second match, AG’s Office won the toss and elected to bat and just made it to three figures, ending with a score of 100-9 in 20 overs. Sudesh scored 38 while Shudhanshu took four for 14 in 4 overs.
In reply, BSNL made 105-2 in 16 overs with Peter Thangkhiew scoring 35 and Bishen Thapa 34. Raia bagged a brace of wickets for 18 runs.
