Live telecast
The swearing-in-ceremony of the new councils of Ministers of Meghalaya schedule to be held on Tuesday at the Raj Bhavan, Shillong from 11.30 AM onwards will be telecast ‘live’ in the video channels of the local cable network.
Best wishes

Radio Mix
The Prasar Bharati Broadcasting Corporation All India Radio, Shillong will organize a Radio Mix, a musical evening of local talents, featuring Rangdap, Pauline Warjri, Crossroads, Lou Majaw, Strait Brothers and others at U Soso Tham Auditorium from 3.30pm onwards on March 8. Dr Desmond Kharmawphlang, a professor of NEHU, will be the chief guest on the occasion.
Women’s Day
The Meghalaya State Social Welfare Board (MSSWB), Shillong will organise a programme to celebrate the International Women’s Day on March 8 at 11 am at the community hall Nongpoh (Sajer), Nongpoh in Ri Bhoi district. Chairperson of the MSSWB OB Tariang will be the chief guest.
Milk price
The Milkmen Association has decided to increase the price per litre of milk from the existing Rs 33 to Rs 38. The new rate will come into effect from March 1.
Telecom adalat
Senior General Manager Telecom District, Shillong will hold a telephone adalat on March 20 at the office of the GMTD at 11 am. Telephone subscribers who have long pending complaints of more than six months old can lodge their grievances to SDE (PG), room 112, GMTD.
Body
A TB patient of RP Chest hospital, Joy Das of Polo, who was brought from Civil Hospital expired on March 1.His relatives are requested to collect the body within two days.
