Science fair

The state council of science, technology and environment is organising a two-day science level science and technology fair 2013 as part of the national science day celebration this year on March 7 and 8 at Meghalaya Bharat Scouts and Guides state headquarters at Pinemount Ridge from 10.30am onwards. A ‘Night Sky Viewing’ will also be organised on March 7 at 6pm.

Body found

East Khasi Hills SP has informed that an unknown newborn dead body was found floating on Wah Umkhrah river near Lawmali bridge and has been kept at the Civil Hospital morgue. Any one having any knowledge may contact the SI of the Pasteur Hills Beat House at 9485102401.
