Murder

On March 6 at around 2 pm, Babu Thapa (20) murdered one Krishna Lama (68) at a labour camp of a coal quarry at Nongjri (EJH).

Arrest

On March 10 at around 4 pm, Umkiang Police arrested a Bangladeshi national, Godan Das (32), from a truck proceeding towards Khliehriat (EJH).

Theft

On March 9 at around 3.30 am, unknown miscreants stole Rs. 11,000 and gold ornaments worth Rs. 4,60,000 from the house of one Monish Joshi at Khanapara (RB).

One Bhupesh Kumar Singh lodged a complaint at Laban PS that on March 9, unknown miscreants stole cigarettes valued around Rs. 50,000, recharge vouchers valued around Rs. 40,000 and Rs. 5,000 from his shop near Laban Post Office.

Threat case

On March 8 at around 7 pm, Nome Chettri (48) threatened one Belita Dhar with dire consequences at Ladrymbai (EJH).
