TURA: Congress MLA from North Tura Noverfield R Marak has been appointed as a Parliamentary Secretary in the Dr Mukul Sangma-led Government, according to an official notice issued by the State Government.
The North Tura MLA has been made Parliamentary Secretary in charge of the Public Health Engineering department (PHE) and Urban Affairs.
Marak had defeated Roger Benny A Sangma and former Rajya Sabha MP Thomas A Sangma to win the February 23 election.
