SHILLONG: The IIM Shillong fraternity on Monday mourned the death of one of its student, Kartik Mishra who drowned at Sweet Falls on Sunday.

In the condolence meeting, students while remembering Kartik conveyed, “The loss to us and the institute at his death is irreparable.”

Director, Prof. Keya Sengupta consoled the students and asked everyone to be united and strong in the time of grief.

Karttik’s friends paid their last respect and adieu by offering their prayers for the strength of the family and for the departed soul.

The meeting was attended by the Chairman Board of Governors, Director, and all the participants of IIM Shillong, including Faculty, Officers and staff.
