SHILLONG: The Syiem of Mylliem has issued a show cause notice against the three Rangbah Shnongs for taking part in active politics which is in violation of Section 20 of the Khasi Hills Autonomous District (Appointment & Succession of Syiem, Deputy Syiem, Electors and Rangbah Shnong of the Mylliem Syiemship) Act 2007.
The Syiem on Tuesday issued the notice to Upper Lumparing Rangbah Shnong HB Wahlang, Lower Lumparing Rangbah Shnong FB Khongsit and Umkynrut-Kynjatphutbal Rangbah Shnong Banrikupar Wahlang. The three have been summoned to the office of Syiem of Mylliem at Mawkhar to clarify on this matter on April 16.
