NONGPOH: The Confederation of Ri-Bhoi People (CORP), eastern zone, on Sunday lambasted the State Government for its alleged silence over the ‘illegal construction’ of the entrance gate and SBI branch by Assam authorities at Sabuda.
CORP, eastern Ri-Bhoi zone president Bandari Ryntathiang while talking to The Shillong Times said, “It is a matter of grave concern that the government has been a mere spectator to the construction at the disputed Block II area.” The CORP also extended its support to the KSU and the CSWO (I) who had demanded the government to stall the construction of the SBI branch and demolition of the entrance gate at Sabuda.
