FICN racketeer apprehended

SHILLONG: BSF troops of 156 Bn deployed in South West Garo Hills on Thursday apprehended one Indian FICN racketeer identified as Nodil D Sangma near village Miringipara. During search, party recovered FICN face value Rs 8,000 from his possession.

In another incident, a vehicle checking party of BOP Kuliang deployed in East Jaintia Hills apprehended One Bangladeshi illegal immigrant identified as Md Jolil. On the same day, vehicle checking party of BOP Umkiang recovered one Country made gun besides other belongings.
