lOne Bestar Diengdoh (24/M), a motorist sustained injuries when the Maruti 800 he was following applied the brakes suddenly. The motorist was heading towards Shillong from Pariong when the incident took place at 5th Mile, Upper Shillong on April 8 at 10:19 A.M. Diengdoh was shifted to Shillong Civil Hospital.
lOne person succumbed to her injuries when a Toyota Fortuner she was travelling in on her way to Shillong was involved in a collision with a truck coming from the opposite direction at Saiden under Umling Block, Ri Bhoi District on April 7 at 5:13 A.M. The deceased identified as Gora Sharmila (38/F) died on reaching the hospital at Nongpoh. The others who were injured in the accident included Gora Rashmi (17/F), Gora Gumtae (8/M) and the driver Tika Ram Pokral (27/M). They were shifted to Nongpoh Civil Hospital and then to GNRC, Guwahati. Later, the 108 team comprising of EMT Gilbert Vespar Ryntathiang and Pilot Jyotish Rabha recovered cash amount of more than a lakh which they handed over to the victim’s relative at GNRC, Guwahati.
lIn another two wheeler related accident, a motorist fractured his right leg after a collision with a Maruti 800 at Demsieniong, Shillong on April 7 at 7:53 P.M. The injured Brando Lyngkhoi (32/M) was shifted to Shillong Civil Hospital.

The incident happened at 3rd Mile, Upper Shillong on April 6 at 10:55 P.M. The injured Aiubenstar Mawlong (33/M) was shifted to Shillong Civil Hospital.

lOn April 6 at around 3 pm, one Sakiful Islam (27) sustained injuries when a boulder fell on him, while he was working in a stone quarry at Ichamati (EKH). He was shifted to CH, Shillong, where he succumbed to his injuries.
