Complaints against violence during KSU rally

SHILLONG: Complaints have started to float in from as many as six witnesses against unidentified KSU activists with regards to the incidents of vandalism and assault during the procession called by the KSU on April 4.

Complaints were lodged at Laitumkhrah Police Station that on April 4 at around 6 pm, unidentified KSU activists who were part of a procession damaged the showcases and goods of a shop M/s Hun’s Collections at Laitumkhrah; pelted stones causing injuries to the bystanders; assaulted people; damaged a Maruti Alto car belonging to one Vareed Sabu; damaged the glasses of a shop belonging to one Pradeep Nath and damaged the showcase and glass of M/s Sharma Saloon.
