SHILLONG: A fire broke out in a haystack near a cowshed in Zig-Zag road, Rilbong on Tuesday night following which two fire tenders immediately rushed to the spot.

The reason of the fire was not known till the filing of this report.

The fire fighters faced difficulty in extinguishing the flames due to the wind which kept on reigniting the fire.
