Shad Suk Mynsiem

The Shad Suk Mynsiem, traditional thanks giving dance of the Khasis, will be held from April 13-15 at the Weiking ground, Jaiaw from 2.30 pm onwards. Hundreds of men and women dressed in traditional attire will dance to the beat of drums and Tangmuri to thank God for all the blessings.

Intl Day for Street Children

The Reach Shillong Ministeries will observe the International Day for Street Children at Talents Club on April 12 from 10 am onwards. Director of Social Welfare HM Shangplaing will be the chief guest.

Inauguration

The Basin Development Unit, East Khasi Hills under the Meghalaya Integrated Basin Development &Livelihood Promotion Programme will open its third enterprise facilitation centre on April 11 at 10.30 am at Mawphlang C&RD Block.
