KSU statement recorded

SHILLONG: The KSU on Wednesday made their submission before the Additional District Magistrate, DM Wahlang, who is conducting a magisterial enquiry into the incident of violence on April 4 on the occasion of the Khasi National Awakening Day.

The ADM on Wednesday recorded the statement of KSU general secretary Auguster Jyrwa, while the police statement will be recorded on Thursday.

Official sources said 22 people, mainly witnesses, have been examined so far.

It was informed that the enquiry report will be submitted to the government by Friday afternoon.
