Woman police and ADE denies allegations

TURA: Denying allegations of trying to manipulate the recently registered rape case of a maid in Tura by the house owner, woman police stationed at Tura Police Station, Greeny M Sangma has stated that the allegation against her is false and she has not overstepped the proceedings of law in anyway.

According to earlier reports, Zenithsky J Sangma, ADM had stated to media persons that an inquiry had been initiated into an alleged negligence by a woman police to take the case seriously. Meanwhile, ADE President, Dalseng Bira Ch Momin clarified that ADE has neither consented nor have any connection with the case and that the Association is not involved in the matter in anyway. He said that the mentioned General Secretary of ADE is an ad-hoc Secretary for the time being and the Association does not support any such incidents and condemned the rape of the maid.
